鄧子玉 (1921 – 1997)
鄧子玉、廣東南海鄧族永嘉祖房廿二傳，名邦玗、字大雄 ，號子玉，誦先長子，妾劉氏出，民國十年辛酉十二月二十日建生。子玉年幼時，聰敏好學，天才橫溢，少年時已跟隨名師勤習書畫，深得父親真傳。一九三三年間肄業于廣東省廣州市立美術學院，功仕女、墨荷、花鳥，有乃父風。
其畫室名為得心畫室，課餘時有創作，亦嘗在港、澳參加畫展及舉行個展。其傳統書法繪畫造詣，深得中外人士肯定，收藏其作品者眾。
子玉亦長時期投身教育工作，一九三七年間任教廣東四會私立大同小學，一九六四至一九九六年任教澳門同善堂中、小學部，閒餘亦開辦國畫書法班，培育後進，不遺餘力。九七年十一月十八日(丁丑十月十九日)病逝香港浸會醫院，卜葬于香港屯門青松仙苑。
Deng Chi Iok (1921 – 1997)
Deng Chi Iok was born to an artistic family in 1921, son of master artist Deng Fen. He was talented in the arts from a young age, studying diligently under the watchful eye of his father. His father encouraged him to follow several master artists to expand his knowledge and skill in painting and calligraphy. His passion led him to study at Guangzhou’s College of Art in Guangdong, graduating from the art program in 1933. His most popular subjects included Chinese beauties, lotus flowers, flowers and birds. Deng Chi Iok later taught art and Chinese literature both privately and in schools. He also participated in art exhibitions in Hong Kong and Macau as well as holding his own exhibitions. His talents were appreciated and collected by both Chinese and foreign collectors, and even included Borneo’s Governor. Deng Chi Iok passed away in November 1997 surrounded by his friends and family.

Deng Chi Iok était en 1921 dans une famille d’artiste. Il était le fil du maître de peintre chinois Deng Fen. Doué d’un talent exceptionnel à son jeune âge, il étudiait sous la supervision de son père qu’il lui a recommandé de poursuivre ses études avec plusieurs maîtres de peintre afin d’obtenir plus de connaissance and de développer ses talents de peinture et de calligraphie. Sa passion lui a mené à gradué dans le programme d’art au Collège d’art de Guangzhou dans en Guangdong en 1933. Il avait plusieurs œuvres populaires qui incluaient des fleurs de lotus, des oiseaux ainsi que la beauté humaine. Plus tard, il a enseigné les arts et la littérature chinoise en privé et dans les écoles publics. Il a participé aux exhibitions d’arts à Hong Kong and à Macau tout en organisant ses propres exhibitions. Ses œuvres étaient très appréciées par les collecteurs locaux et étrangers. Il était décédé en novembre 1997, accompagné de sa famille et de ses amis proches.
